| Here is a quick concept for a feel or aesthetic for Liberty Island. I wanted to capture the feel of years and years of combat so the statue is riddled with bullet holes and char marks. On top there are antennas and various radar equipment along with gun emplacements and anti air launchers.

| Nice, i think the statue should be more mutilated though, when giant mechs have been bombing the crap out of it for years and years, maybe add like missing arm and large chunks from the legs and head and things.
Accept from that pretty cool |

| Hmm, maybe we can have the fortress then the mutilated statue inside, with the whole underground area from Genes, and the turrets and the stuff on the walls like on genes |

| Coolness. As far as modeling the basic structure consists of cubes with some variation on them such as outcrops and such. The widow like holes could have turrets in them. There could also be tiered levels on which you could have turrets placed upon. The walls of the fortress are basically smooth so that if you stand at the bottom of the structure it appears as an un-scalable surface. I would say the main thing would be texturing possible to show the age and all the battle scars that the fortress has endured over time.
The turrets that are built into the wall in Gene's concepts could go anywhere on the walls of the fortress. This is just a concept, so it does not have to be used in its entirety. You can use what you want from it and mix and match.
Just a thought about the statue. The force field might be a cool idea where the inhabitants of the fortress want to show their defiance and display the statue for anyone approaching the, especially the enemy to see. |

| Got the scale a bit wrong on that first concept . Those would have to be massive guns. I was thinking we should have a lower fortress so you can see the statue's mutilation and have alot of it underground. Tech are really the ones with the massive fortresses, originally the Toik were going to be based in bunkers underground, for liberty island we really want the statue to be visible everywhere above the ground to constantly remind the player where they are. |

| looks cool. How about mutilating the statue of liberty? So that only the shoulder, head and hand with torch sticks up from the top. Saves also polycount on the model. |
